Description
Euphorbia pentops
Prefers bright, direct sunlight and thrives when placed close to a south-facing window or in a spot with abundant light.
It can tolerate some direct sun, but in very hot climates, it is protected from harsh afternoon rays to prevent sunburn.
Water sparingly; allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
During winter, keep the plant almost completely dry. It is highly drought-tolerant and susceptible to root rot if overwatered.
Never let water stand around the roots.
Requires well-draining, gritty soil- ideally a cactus or succulent mix amended with sand or perlite.
Prefers warm temperatures between 18–29°C.
Like many Euphorbias, it enters dormancy in winter. During this period, reduce watering drastically and withhold fertilizer.
